During this four-day, residential program in Honolulu (stay at the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel right outside of Waikiki), teachers learn how to use economic principles to analyze environmental issues. Participants learn how a rational, economic approach to the environment helps students understand the complexity of these issues.

The program is structured as a business conference and incorporates a blend of learning activities including hands-on classroom activities, lectures, simulations and a one-day field trip. All materials and activities have been developed specifically for this program.
